Blue Cats will be transformed into a Rasta man's paradise tonight at 8.
Burning Spear, the 58-year-old Jamaican Rasta legend, is bringing his legendary Rasta philosophy and high-energy show in support of his latest release "Freeman."
"We have a great show this tour," Burning Spear trombonist Micah Robinson said. "We sold out the House of Blues in Chicago. This whole tour has been great."
Burning Spear's latest world tour has taken the group through 15 countries in Europe as well as Canada and the U.S.
Burning Spear has released over 30 albums since his first recording of "Door Peep" in 1969. He won a Grammy in 2000 for best reggae album for "Calling Rastafari."
Over thirty years and the Spear is still burning.
