The Gamma Alpha Chapter of Delta Gamma will be hosting the 29th annual Anchor

Splash Swim Meet from Wednesday, April 1 to Friday, April 3 at the UT Aquatic

Center.

The fund-raiser, which benefits the visually impaired, will feature both

traditional and unique swimming events.

Teams of students representing fraternities, sororities and other campus

organizations will compete in a variety of events including synchronized

swimming, medley relays, spirit contest, The Most Beautiful Eyes contest

and a billiard tournament. Members of Delta Gamma will serve as coaches.

"Anchor Splash is going to be fun and exciting; we hope everyone

will participate and come support us," said Katie Newman, chair of

the events.

The Most Beautiful Eyes contest will be held Wednesday to Friday from

11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aquatic competitions will be held Thursday from 4 p.m.

to 7 p.m., and a billiard tournament will be held Friday from 4 p.m. to

6 p.m..

Students are encouraged to come support all participants. All proceeds

will benefit the Delta Gamma Foundations, Service for Sight.
