The Speech Communication Council at UT will hold a panel discussion Monday

night to let students and others know about the importance of morals in the

political arena.

The title of the discussion is Morality and Political Speech: A Panel

Discussion
. The event will begin at 7 p.m. in the University Center

Auditorium and have a wide variety of panelists, including:

Matt Prince -- Talk-show

host/founder of New Life Ministries

Theotis Robinson --

Newspaper columnist/UT administrator

Rev. Lynn Thomas-Strauss

-- Minister at Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church

Sam Wallace -- professor

of sociology

Richardson-Williams -- Partner with the Ingram Group/Former State Party

Chairman of Tennessee Republican Party

The moderators for the discussion will be John Crooks and Jeanie Poland,

and admission for the panel discussion is free. However, the council asks

that those attending bring canned foods to donate to the Second Harvest

Food Bank of Knoxville.
