o 12:59 a.m. - Officer reported a vehicle may have spray paint on it at Laurel Avenue Garage. Owner was contacted. She said it was wax she put on the car earlier in the day and was too tired to take it off.
Monday, Sept. 3
o 7:12 a.m. - Complainant reported there were hunters on UT property at the Alcoa Farm. Officer reported the hunters were not on UT property, but were in the waterway which is a legal hunting zone.
o 8:10 a.m. - Complainant from Alcoa Farm called back again to complain about the hunters still being on UT property and hunting. Officer reported the hunters were still in there boats and may have came ashore to retrieve game.
Sunday, Sept. 9
o 12:12 a.m. - Officer helped secure a door at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital. The person trying to close the door was not strong enough to close it.
Saturday, Sept. 15
o 12:03 a.m. - Guard reported he saw people carrying a wooden door near the International House. Guard reported the subjects put the door in a dark colored SUV with five people inside. Subjects were gone on arrival.
Tuesday, Oct. 2
o 9:55 a.m. - Complainant reported someone stole a flagpole at the Dougherty Engineering Building.
Friday, Oct. 12
o 1:27 p.m. - Report of a dryer on fire Thompson-Boling Arena. Knoxville Fire Department responded to the call.
Tuesday, Oct. 16
o 12:45 a.m. - Desk worker reported subjects setting a pizza on fire in Melrose Hall greenway. Subjects gone upon officer arrival.
Friday, Oct. 19
o 1:34 a.m. - North Carrick Hall resident reported stolen tire that was located locked to a bike rack. Officer dispatched. No police action taken.
o 2:36 a.m. - BFI truck driver reported a suspicious substance on the ground at the Administrative Parking Garage. Officer dispatched. Supervisor advised area checked OK, non-hazardous dust and lint from vacuum cleaner bag.
Sunday, Oct. 21
o 4:23 a.m. - Morrill Hall desk worker reported three white males trying to sneak bear from the Hill into back door of dorm. Officer dispatched. Bear recovered. Officers unable to locate subjects.
Friday, Oct. 26
o 1:07 a.m. - A hall director at Humes Hall reported 10 to 15 people yelling and throwing an orange traffic cone around. Officer dispatched. Subjects gone upon officer arrival.
Monday, Oct. 29
o 8:30 p.m. - Complainant advised residents were throwing water balloons out windows onto cars in staff lot at Shelbourne Towers. Officer dispatched. Knoxville Police Department notified.
Friday, Nov. 9
o 9:34 p.m. - Complainant reported someone stole her license plate and replaced it with another plate. Officer dispatched.
Saturday, Nov. 10
o 3:03 a.m. - All front desk workers at Presidential Court reported disturbance involving several subjects flipping over the junk car for game-day program. Officer dispatched; reported subjects trying to turn car over again at 3:47 a.m. Officer told subjects to leave. Problem solved. Citations issued.
Friday, Nov. 16
o 2:39 a.m. - Officer out with two nude individuals at Wendy's parking lot. Officer reported subjects in custody at 2:43 a.m.
Friday, Nov. 23
o 3:36 a.m. - Officer advised out with intoxicated person trying to ride a bicycle at Sutherland Apartments. Officer advised subject in custody at 3:41 a.m.
Wednesday, Nov. 28
o 7:37 p.m. - Report of subject jumping out of bushes at people at Clarence Brown Theatre. No one found in area.
o 8:30 p.m. - Report of subject throwing oranges at fourth floor window of South Carrick Hall. No one found in area.
