As the election draws closer, the Knox County Election Commission will start having early voting in the area.
Tammy Cole, of the Knox County Election Commission said that early voting will start Oct.16 and run through Oct. 31. The regular election will take place Nov. 5.
"It is a state law in Tennessee to offer early voting," Cole said. "Being able to vote early also makes it more convenient for some voters."

o Bi-Lo shopping center on Chapman Highway
o Downtown West shopping center on Kingston Pike
o Pilot Station No. 221 on Campbell Station Road
o Office of the County Clerk at Knoxville Center Mall
o Office of the County Clerk at 7028 Maynardville Highway

Hours:
o Normal hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
o Oct. 19 hours will be 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 26 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
o Oct. 22, 24 and 31 hours will be 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
