About $1,500 worth of tools were reported stolen on Monday from the construction site of the football complex addition on the corner of Chamique Holdsclaw Drive and Lake Loudon Boulevard, a report said.
Stephen Lanham, a general contractor for Rouse Construction, told University of Tennessee Police Department Officer Meshia Thomas that several tools were missing from a storage box on the ground floor. Contractor William Hearne said that another construction worker locked the storage box at about 3 p.m. Friday.
The tools stolen included several saws, a drill and two levels. Police do not have any suspects.
