Deadlines for payment of fees for summer and fall terms is quickly approaching.
The deferred payment deadline for the summer term is Friday, July 10, 2009.
Jan Todd, senior fee control clerk in the UT Bursar’s Office, said deferred payment gives students the option of dividing tuition and fees into two separate payments.
“Fall payments are due in full Aug. 11, but if you don’t want to pay it all at this time, you must have at least 50 percent of the payment, and there will also be a $20 service charge,” Todd said.
For the upcoming fall term, payment and confirmation of attendance are due Tuesday, Aug. 11, at 4:30 p.m.
If students have not confirmed their attendance or paid at least 50 percent of their fees by Aug. 11, their schedules will be canceled.
The deferred payment deadline for the fall term is Oct. 2.
Aug.12 through Aug. 28 will mark the late registration period. A late registration fee will be charged.
Beginning the week of July 13, students will begin receiving e-mails at their University of Tennessee e-mail addresses letting them know their VolXpress statement is available for viewing.
