The University of Tennessee at Memphis and the Shelby County Alumni will host a Big Orange Bash on Beale Street from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Nov. 3, at W.C. Handy Performing Arts Park.
Beginning at 6 p.m. Friday night, Beale Street will be closed to traffic to allow UT fans to display decorated vehicles. RVs and fanmobiles featured in the VOLMANIA book will be showcased for spectators to view.
The event will be open to the public with live entertainment by DJ Stash from 6-8 p.m. Food and beverage concessions will be open as well as a cash bar.
Several Beale Street merchants will be offering customized menus in honor of the Big Orange Bash. Parking will be available at Gibson Guitar directly behind Beale Street. Families are welcome to attend the event; however, most Beale Street merchants require guests to be 21 years of age to enter.
