The University of Tennessee's 2005 baseball season will pick up right where the 2004 edition left off - against NCAA Tournament teams.
Tennessee's schedule, which was released Wednesday, opens Feb. 11 with the Minute Maid Classic in Houston, where the Vols will take on NCAA regional teams Texas A&M and Oklahoma State and Big 12 foe Baylor.
The following week, Tennessee hosts its first home series against Eastern Michigan from Feb. 18-20.
An always-tough SEC schedule begins March 18 at Auburn with a three-game series against the Tigers. Home SEC series for the Diamond Vols include Ole Miss, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Vanderbilt and Georgia.
Coach Rod Delmonico's squad finished 38-24 in 2004 and was awarded a berth in the NCAA Regionals.
