Tennessee's celebrated women's basketball recruiting class is beginning to more closely resemble the Injured Reserve list of an NFL team.
Alex Fuller, a 6-3 freshman from Shelbyville, has undergone arthroscopic surgery on her left knee after experiencing some instability, according to Jenny Moshak, assistant athletics director for sports medicine.
Earlier this month, National Player of the Year Candace Parker, a 6-3 forward from Napierville, Ill., underwent a similar procedure on her left knee.
Both freshmen had suffered torn anterior cruciate ligaments in high school, but those injuries are not believed to be related to their latest setbacks.
Parker and Fuller join fellow freshman Sade Wiley-Gatewood (patella tendonitis) on the injury report, but Wiley-Gatewood could return to practice within a week.
