The Tennessee men’s swimming and diving team received a handful of team and individual honors this week for its work in the classroom in the fall.
As a team, the Vols received Academic All-American honors from the College Swimming Coaches of America for their cumulative 3.01 grade point average. It marks the sixth straight year Tennessee has earned Academic All-American honors.
Four individuals also received individual honors for the Vols. Juniors Casey Dauw (3.75 GPA), Tyler Gustafson (3.74), Bryan Goldberg (3.54) and Kiel Hudson (3.54) all were recognized for their academic success.
Dauw and Goldberg were named All-Americans last year for their parts in the sixth-place 800-meter free relay team at the NCAA championships. Gustafson earned honorable mention All-America honors for his performances on the 400m medley relay, 200m free relay and 400m free relay teams.
