The Tennessee men's team swept pass UNC-Greensboro Sunday, defeating the Spartans 7-0 at the Goodfriend Indoor Tennis Center.
“Our guys got some good wins today which should help their confidence going into Friday’s match against Memphis,” men’s tennis coach Chris Mahony said. “We got a lot of court time this weekend which was our goal. This team now needs to keep improving every week with the SEC season just ahead.”

The Vols dominated the doubles portion. Dave Baxendine and Kaden Hensel defeated Ian Conchar and Jason Steinhorn 8-1 and Bobby Cameron and Johnny Thornton quickly followed blowing past Marc Ladoucer and Ryan Lewis 8-1. Adam Hubble and Ben Rogers won their match at No. 1 doubles 8-0 over Martin Redelinghuys and Austin Wilty 8-0.
Cameron gave the Volunteers a 2-0 lead with his victory over Ladoucer 6-2, 6-1 at No. 1 singles. Cameron has won his past three starts at the No. 1 position.

Hubble extended UT's lead when he defeated Steinhorn 6-0, 6-2 at No. 3 singles and senior Rawl Martin clinched the match for UT with a 6-1, 6-3 win over Wilty at the No. 4 singles slot.
Baxendine won at No. 2 singles over Redelinghuys 7-6, 6-1, for his first dual-match win this season. Rogers and Derek Stephens put the finishing touches on the match winning at No. 5 and 6 singles.
